Ohiopyle Multimodal Gateway Project
The goal of this project was to improve connectivity and safety for vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and boaters between the Borough of Ohiopyle and the 20,500-acre Ohiopyle State Park, which hosts more than 1.5 million visitors each year.
I-64/Northampton Boulevard Interchange Project
As one of the highest volume interchanges in the region, the goals of this project were to increase off-ramp capacity and eliminate difficult arterial weaving movements on Northampton Boulevard. The project was completed six weeks ahead of schedule.
Hampton Boulevard Grade Separation
The Hampton Boulevard (Route 337) Grade Separation project was part of a multi-phase plan to improve transportation around the Norfolk Naval Base and Norfolk International Terminal.
George Washington Highway (Route 17) Widening Project
The roadway improvements in this project increased the capacity of George Washington Memorial Highway between Hampton Highway and Wolf Trap Road, from four lanes to six lanes, with three lanes in each direction.
I-95 Southbound Rappahannock River Crossing
The goal of this $132 million megaproject was to reduce Interstate 95 congestion at Fredericksburg by providing local traffic with an additional route to travel between Route 17 and Route 3 without merging into the interstate's general-purpose lanes.
US Route 15/29 Improvements at Vint Hill Road
The purpose of this Design-Build improvement project was to address safety by improving the current substandard stopping sight distance in the northbound lanes of Route 29 on the approach to the Route 215 intersection in Fauquier County.
I-64 Southside Widening and High-Rise Bridge, Phase I
The goal of phase I of this major project in Hampton Roads was to construct a new high-rise bridge, immediately to the south of the existing I-64 bridge to exclusively carry I-64 west traffic toward Virginia Beach.
Route 7 Widening and Bridge Rehabilitation
This $41M design-build project for the Virginia Department of Transportation reconstructed and widened the structurally deficient Route 7 bridge over Dulles Toll Road and the Airport Access Highway from four lanes to six lanes.
Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services
QCS performed coating inspection services during the field structural and coating activities of five elevated water storage tanks located in Petersburg, Burkeville, and Lynchburg in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Gordon Road Reservoir Rehabilitation, Spotsylvania County, Virginia
